Almost any type of wood can be reproduced with a wood-graining technique. From an aged oak door, with faux moulding and old wood pegs using 'trompe-l'oeil' to a birdseye maple panel with 'trompe-l'oeil' bamboo ornamentation or burl walnut. |

Faux wood does not always immitate real wood, like maple or oak. This is a "fantasy" wood, created in yellow ochre and olive green to match an already installed kitchen decor. |
